JCDM College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2003, JCDM College of Pharmacy is duly approved by AICTE & PCI and affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak/HSBTE Panchkula. JCDM College of Pharmacy has established itself to be a center of excellence in Pharmaceutical Sciences in North India and provide a multidisciplinary, excellence of multifaceted curriculum involving the study of the discovery of new drug molecules to its evaluation, development, approval for human consumption, manufacturing, and every other important aspect. High-tech well-equipped labs serve as a strong framework for our graduates to help them develop capabilities to become world class pharmacists and scientists. Important in-house projects and research work is taken-up in the labs that is academically as well as socially productive.

New session started with Havan and Vedic chanting in JCDM Pharmacy College
February 08, 2025: The academic session 2024-2025 of JCD Memorial Pharmacy College, located at JCD Vidyapeeth, Sirsa was inaugurated with a havan-yagya in which Professor Dr. Jai Prakash, Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, played the role of chief host. Principal of JCD Pharmacy College, Dr. Mohit Kumar and other staff members chanted mantras and prayed for a divine beginning of the new session.
On this auspicious occasion, Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Professor Dr. Jai Prakash, along with the Principal of the Pharmacy Department, congratulated and wished all the teaching and non-teaching members and students for the new academic session and said that it is our tradition that we start the new academic session in the Vidyapeeth with a havan.
Professor Dr. Jai Prakash, while explaining the importance of havan, said that havan has spiritual as well as scientific importance. To know its scientificity, research has found that by burning mango wood and performing havan, a gas called ‘formic aldehyde’ is produced, due to which dangerous bacteria and germs and viruses spread in the atmosphere die automatically. Due to the natural materials and camphor used in havan, the smoke from havan calms the mind and the stress hormones present in the body start getting destroyed and immunity is boosted. He said that havan is not only a religious ritual, but also a source of health benefits. Mental and physical purification It is an important tool for the development of human beings. It is not only purifies the environment, but also our positive direction to thoughts and energy It also helps in changing the mind. Dr. Jai Prakash said that Havan helps us in Inner peace, meditation and concentration When we perform havan, it not only helps in achieving purifies not only the environment around us but also our It also purifies the mind and soul, which helps in flow of positive energy Increases.
18 January 2025: Dr. Gaurav Khurana, Associate Professor, JCD Memorial College of Pharmacy, established in JCD Vidyapeeth, was honored with the Global Teacher Award by Alert Knowledge Service at the International Award Ceremony organized at Taj City Center, Gurugram for his invaluable contribution in the field of education and research by doing research and patenting on important topics.
On this occasion, Dr. Mohit Kumar, Principal, JCD College of Pharmacy, said on this achievement of Dr. Gaurav that the Associate Professor has done many important research and patents like currency sanitizer machine, herbal mosquito repellent refill, T-tablet and antifungal topical nanogel.
On this occasion, Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Professor Dr. Jai Prakash praised Dr. Gaurav for his excellent performance in the field of research and said that JCD Vidyapeeth has always encouraged the staff doing such innovative research.
14 December 2024: An orientation program was organized for the first year students of B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy, and M. Pharmacy at JCD Memorial College of Pharmacy, Sirsa. The purpose of this program was to familiarize the new students with various aspects of the college, academic environment, and future prospects. Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth Professor Dr. Jaiprakash was present as the chief guest in the program.
The program began with Dr. Pradeep Kamboj and Dr. Rita welcoming the chief guest Dr. Jai Prakash by presenting him a green plant. In his address, Dr. Jai Prakash said that pharmacy is a field that is not only limited to the manufacture and discovery of medicines, but also plays an important role in making the society healthy and strong. Calling it an “evergreen Nobel profession”, he said that pharmacists support patients mentally and physically by contributing to the discovery of new medicines.
25 November 2024: The 63rd National Pharmacy Week was formally concluded at JCD College of Pharmacy, JCD Vidyapeeth. On this occasion, Controller of Examinations, GJU, Hisar, Dr. Yashpaul Singla was present as the chief guest, while the program was presided over by Prof. Dr. Jai Prakash, Director General, JCD Vidyapeeth. The program was started by lighting the lamp.
Dr. Jaiprakash welcomed the chief guest Dr. Yashpaul Singla with a green plant. In his address, he said that the main purpose of celebrating Pharmacy Week is to thank pharmacists around the world and highlight the importance of their work. He said that pharmacists play an important role in keeping our lives healthy and eliminating many diseases. Dr. Jai Prakash also said that staying healthy should be a major goal of our life.
23 November 2024: A grand health awareness rally was organized on the occasion of Pharmacy Week at JCD Memorial Pharmacy College of JCD Vidyapeeth. The students of the Pharmacy Department of the college participated enthusiastically in this rally and presented slogans related to the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacy”. On this occasion, the Chief Guest and Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Professor Dr. Jai Prakash flagged off the rally.
Chief guest Professor Dr. Jaiprakash shared his experiences while addressing the students. Emphasizing on the correct use and caution of medicines, he said that medicine is like a double-edged sword. If it is taken correctly, it can cure the disease, but a little carelessness can also be fatal. Explaining the importance of expiry date of medicines to the students, he said that consuming medicine after the expiry date can be extremely harmful for health. Therefore, before using any medicine, its expiry date must be checked.
19 November 2024: The 63rd National Pharmacy Week, whose theme is Think Health Think Pharmacy, was formally started at JCDM College of Pharmacy, established in JCD Vidyapeeth. On this occasion, Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Professor Dr. Jai Prakash was present as the chief guest, while the program was presided over by Dr. Rita and Dr. Gaurav Khurana. First of all, the chief guest Dr. Jai Prakash was welcomed by presenting a green plant to him. After that, the chief guest Dr. Jai Prakash had a special meeting with all the players and got the toss done. Dr. Jai Prakash himself started the cricket match by betting and the players of his college were also present at the toss.
27 August 2024: D.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy students organized a farewell ceremony for their seniors in the Pharmacy College established in JCD Vidyapeeth. In this program, Deputy Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth Professor Dr. Jai Prakash was the chief guest.
In his address, the chief guest of the program, Dr. Jai Prakash said that pharmacy is an evergreen noble profession. Despite the huge challenge posed by the coronavirus pandemic to the health care system, community pharmacists continued to provide vital health services to the communities.
Along with giving medicines, the pharmacist also encouraged the patients by giving them mental strength. Dr. Jai Prakash said that Tau Devi Lal’s life was dedicated to public service. That is why all of you students should also give priority to public service in your field of pharmacy.
The pharmacy profession must be placed at the forefront of efforts to support the nation’s mental health and well-being.
Dr. Jai Prakash said that the Vidyapeeth continuously strives for the all-round development of its students and we are happy that today our students are fully prepared for the challenges that come in their lives.
On this occasion, beautiful cultural programs were presented by the Pharmacy students in which they showcased their talent through Bhangra, Haryanvi dance, ramp walk, singing, act.
On this occasion, Best Student of the Year award was given to Ashish and Award of Attendance was given to Aryan.
Mr. Farewell Avi and Miss Farewell Shobha from B.Pharmacy final year, Miss Talent Kanchal and Mr. Talent Prince and Mr. Dashing Gaurav and Miss Eve Simran by the Jury Madam Aman and Mr. Ranjodh,
Mr. Personality Pradeep and Miss Personality Pawanpreet Kaur were declared along with Mr. Dashing Sukhdev, Miss Eve Aman, Mr. Talent Pradeep, Mr. Farewell Vikas and Miss Farewell Riya from D Pharmacy. In the end, all the winning students were felicitated by the chief guest and the principal.
On this occasion, Dr. Satyanarayan from College of Education and Sports Officer Dr. Amrik Gill were present.
On this occasion all the guests including the principals of all the colleges, teachers and non-teaching staff of the Pharmacy College and students were present.
16 July 2024: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed for higher studies abroad at JCDM College of Pharmacy located in JCD Vidyapeeth. In this program, the Principal of JCDM College of Pharmacy said that a Memorandum of Understanding is being done between JCDM College of Pharmacy and Employability Life, Federation University, Australia for the study of MBA Health Sciences in Australia for the students, which is very important, which will give many career opportunities to our students.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) Jai Prakash, Deputy Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth and Chairman of this program, while extending his best wishes, said that these MoUs can facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint academic programs, inter-cultural initiatives and research collaborations. Dr. Jai Prakash saidIndia is one of the fastest growing markets in the world, and having our students go there to study under these partnerships represents a significant growth opportunity for us. This relationship will not only foster collaboration between our institutions but will also strengthen the long-term educational relationship between India and Australia, he added.
Dr. Jaiprakash congratulated Associate Professor Gaurav Khurana on the completion of his PhD and appreciated Dr. Gaurav Khurana for jointly filing a patent. Dr. Jaiprakash thanked Dr. Manish Malhotra and Raja Das Gupta, Chairman, Employability Life.
The chief guest of the program, Mr. Kirti Singh, Regional Manager, Academic Collaboration, Employability Life, gave detailed information about MBA Health Sciences to the students through a power point presentation.
